Radio professionals Troy Dreyfus and Jonathan Ellerbe formed Pirate Media Group, LLC in March of 2003. Both men serve as managing partners of the company, which operates Pirate Radio 1250 and Pirate Radio 930, "The Voice of the Pirate Nation."

Pirate Radio 1250 was launched in August of 2003 and broadcasts from brand new studios in uptown Greenville, NC at 525 Evans Street.

Pirate Radio 930 was launched in August of 2005 and also broadcasts from our studios in uptown Greenville, NC.

Pirate Radio 1250 towers are located in Farmville, NC. Pirate Radio 930 towers are located in Washington, NC. Each station covers a large footprint of Eastern Carolina with 5000 watts of power. Pirate Radio 1250 and Pirate Radio 930 are proud to be locally owned-and-operated stations with a strong commitment to serving the communities in which they broadcast.
