the historic
Imperial Tobacco Company warehouse
in the center of Greenville off Dickinson Avenue on April 17, 2008. It
was abandoned by
the owners in 1978, leaving a vacant building that occupied two city
blocks. The current owners were using it for storage and about to sell
it
when the blaze occurred.
